Editing a profile¶

This page is used to edit an existing profile and to configure its default Workbench.

Workbench¶

Modelio is a multipurpose tool which supports several metamodels (UML, ArchiMate, BPMN, etc.) and specifications. Modelio offers many features and therefore suits many projects in various business contexts.

Thanks to a powerful configuration mechanism, Modelio allows its users to get only the commands and features that suit their business and context. This mechanism is based on the concepts of workbench and expertises.

With Constellation, it is possible to associate a workbench to a profile and define its composition in terms of expertises.

When one of the profile’s members connects to the project with Modelio, the workbench defined in Constellation will be used by default.

Editing a profile¶

To edit a Profile :

1. Click on the edition button.
2. Modify the name and description of the profile.
3. Set the name of the Workbench associated to the profile.
4. Set the list of expertises for this workbench by separating them with a comma (order is important). Example: Analyst,ArchiMate,UML
5. Validate the modifications.
