Configuring the bug tracker tool¶
Description¶
This page presents the configuration of the coupling with the bug tracker tool Mantis Bug Tracker.
To carry out this coupling, simply do the following:
- Activate bug tracking for the current project.
- Enter into edit mode in the first zone.
- Specify the Mantis server connection information. You must indicate an existing login on this server, so that Constellation is able to connect to it.
- Confirm the changes, which will test the connection to the Mantis server.
- This zone indicates the state of the connection to the Mantis server, notably the list of states and severities which are defined there.
- Once the connection has been established, enter into edit mode in the second zone.
- The statistical tools linked to bug tracking require a bit more configuration:
- By default, all states are considered to be open. You must therefore establish which states are the equivalent of closed.
- You must then indicate which levels of severity should be considered to be critical.
- Confirm the changes to save the configuration.
Note: In order not to distort the statistics, the account used on Mantis must have access to a filter named all, which is configured to display all bugs. Without this, Constellation will not be able to access bugs considered to be closed.
